The problem

Holiday accommodation discovery has become harder for both guests and the people who run independent stays. Several patterns keep repeating across the industry.

High commissions

High commissions reduce what hosts keep from each booking, leaving less for the people who actually run the stay.

Technical barriers

Smaller hosts are often excluded by technical requirements such as required PMS or channel manager connections.

Indirect booking paths

Guests are frequently pushed into platform-controlled booking paths rather than direct relationships with hosts.

We are building FindStayGo in stages. The roadmap below shows the direction of the platform. Features may change as we learn from hosts, guests, and early users.

  1. v1 Current

    Beta launch

    • Focus on Cornwall to build depth and quality in one region first
    • Encourage user feedback from guests and hosts
    • Improve UX and SEO
    • Analyse search data and improve the matching algorithm where possible

    Expand regional coverage

    • Expand in-depth coverage to multiple UK locations
    • Over 5,000 properties indexed
    • Create a host onboarding flow
    • Introduce inclusion of property photos (for claimed listings)
    • Introduce a guest account for saving favourites

    Nationwide depth and host tools

    • Expand in-depth coverage to all UK locations
    • Over 10,000 properties indexed
    • Introduce a PMS connection option for hosts

    Availability and pricing in search

    • Include availability and pricing as part of the search experience
    • Help guests narrow results by dates and budget without losing direct host relationships
    • Over 20,000 properties indexed
